Bitcoin cold storage is achieved when Bitcoin private keys are created and stored in a secure offline environment. Cold storage is important for anyone with bitcoin holdings. Online computers are vulnerable to hackers and should not be used to store a significant amount of bitcoins.
There are three ways to create secure Bitcoin cold storage: paper wallets, hardware wallets, and offline computers using software wallets.

they are money management, market analysis, and entry/exit rules. to me money management is important in trading. i opened another account and start to trade profitably after i learnt from my past mistake. i don't trade emotionally anymore. I have personally used this before. But i loose my money trading on this. Now i'm satisfied with *FIRST MILLION ROAD*.
There are now dozens of small digital currencies trading for just a few cents that are moving up dramatically over very short periods; like Asch traded for few cents at first but in less than 3 months $100=$,570. NolimitCoin traded for few cents but now $100= $5,348 in 6 days. MediterraneanCoin traded for few cents but now $100= $8,313 in 3 months. How do you store your XLM or your LTC on an external hd? Would you store it on an external hd or a flash drive? I've read that it is better to store it on a flash drive because it is less likely to be damaged.
i appreciate you for this video. Please let me know how can i keep my RIPPLE, TRON, MIOTA, VERGE, CARDANO, STELLER coins. because ledger nano cant save these coins not even treaser. My exchange said we can not provide u private keys. when i asked that u want to write keys on paper. but they said you can transfer your coin anywhere either other exchange or in your hardware or other wallets.
and one more note a good friend of mine lost a hard disk with a bit coin wallet on it, he bought in the time it wasn't even 1$ for a bitcoin long story short he lost 2000 bit coin... hard disk is gone..
the paper wallet to me is something you can do yourself, in the end it's just your id, private key etc on paper. i have a note in a safe with all my sensitive/private data and as the off line wallet its pretty good if you go for a long hold.
Hi, Thank you for the info very valuable, however, you seem to be talking to English speaking people, if you give examples and speak slower and give picture examples you will get 1000's more followers slow down at the tech points and show examples with pictures, clearly! some people are not tech savvy! Thank you excellent work :)
hey quick question. so how many in total coins and token can the nano ledger hold? i heard somewhere around 5 . so if thats the case,i see you have many wallets, can i use multiple nano ledgers and would i set each one up as a new wallet if i purchased lets say 2 or 3. If u could answer those for me i would appreciate it.
I am new and wanted to store my Cryptos but not sure which route to go with storing.... I have about 5 Cryptocurrencies and not sure where to store them. I also dwn loaded Exodus, but heard bad things and they dont cover all my altcoins.
Bought mine at amazon, cheapest and fastest way i think. heres a link for it : https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01J66NF46/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1634&creative=6738&creativeASIN=B01J66NF46&linkCode=as2&tag=mustiiaffilia-21&linkId=d7dd34ae822dac65bcffce9935f6c03e
lol, the storage space on a Ledger Nano S is like 512 KBs or some shit, not even, like you SHOULD be able to store tons of coins on the Ledger, but you run out of room after installing like an additional 2 coins, it's retarded.
Maybe I don't know, Why not just get a usb stick? Not sure what sort of memory size but im sure that 1 stick can handle more than Ledger and or Trezor Etc and other brands. Id rather spend that next £100 or so on Crypto?
Question, if I buy the Ledger, and say it didn't support the currency, can I manually put it in there or it won't allow that? So, I'm trying to get stealer coin as an example and ledger doesn't support that coin, is there a way to add it? Also, they say to keep two nanos, one for going online and one to do the transfers offline? I'm so confused! Sorry new to the cryptoworld. Please help.
Just don't buy bitcoins! you are giving something a value that shouldn't receive value !
It is basically a bubble and once the Internet gets down for lets say 10 min ... all your so beloved fake currency is gone!
Stay with the real money, gold, real estate! That is the safest investment
I did all my research and to be honest i think that paperwallet is the safest way to keep your crypto.Make like 6 copies put in different locations you can even put some on to encrypted usb stick and store it in safe.I mean i like the idea of paperwallet because there is no companies involved unlike usb wallets.
If I get this right, by using a cold storage you still use some company as support and they can stop existing or go corrupt and steal your money.
Also any paper wallet you again use an application to give you your private keys, meaning someone has access to them
For those who are planning to buy bitcoin here is a referal for both parties to receive $10 worth of Bitcoin for free when you buy at least $100 worth of Bitcoin:
Ledger Nano S is good, but there are no very clear information on how to store some atlcoins. I tried it for EXP, but yet to do it correctly because information on their website or in other places are not great, particularly how to select "browser support" or "contract data". If you have a video explaining this process clearly, please let us have its link. Cheers !
what about protecting your crypto coins from an EMP Attack...? Whos to say the Bitcoin Exchange protect their equipment from an EMP... Then what? Will the records of your tokens be lost even if u have a paper wallet...?
Want to do something good with your bitcoin??? Please donate them . I need only 0.25 bitcoin total to make my trip to Sint Maarten to help people over there with food and clothing... wallet adres:1JdcvpV9Xvwqm3KtHffsuPggS4PA8fCfjS
