Click here to discover how to drive sales to your products or services online with one simple formula: http://www.deytips.com/theformula Learn more about the formula here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGnsAwEB7OM --~-- http://www.deytips.com/make-money-ebay/ebay-selling-fees/ Let me sell your products or services for you: http://www.proudagent.com Plane and simple, your eBay fees can make or break your eBay business if you are not careful. Before you even consider selling any item on eBay you need to make sure that you are calucating what your eBay fees will cost you. A lot of people decide not sell on eBay simply due to eBay fees, however, this in my opinion is a massive mistake. eBay selling fees is the small cost of putting your items for sale on eBay and if you sell on Amazon you will be charged a lot more than per sale than you would selling on eBay. Also, there may be 0 fees to sell on other platforms such as craigslist, your own website or another third party site but it is a lot more difficult for you to get the type of traffic to your products that you ill need to effectively sell your products. Your eBay selling fees will come in many different shapes and sizes and I will explain them in more detail. Your eBay store fees: Your eBay store fees are the fees that eBay will charge you for owning a store on eBay. Unlike many other third party selling platforms, it is not a requirement for you to open up a store when selling on eBay. There are benefits to setting up an eBay store including unlocking a few features such as your own personalized design, being able to send newsletters to your eBay buyers and creating good till cancelled listings. There are many different eBay stores and depending on which package you choose you can expect to pay varying eBay store fees. eBay listing fees: eBay listing fees are the fees that eBay will charge you to actually place an item on eBay for sale. This is charged to you whether your product successfully sells on eBay or not. This may sound harsh, having to pay a fee before your item even sells, however I think it is a good thing. Not only are eBay listing fees pretty cheap, they also create a barrier to entry for other sellers. Think about it, if eBay did not charge a eBay listing fees then anyone could list unlimited amounts of products on eBay for free creating a lot more competition on eBay. eBay listing fees allows sellers to be more selective about how many products they wish to sell on the platform. The amount you are charged as an eBay listing fee will depend on the product you are selling and the category that the product is listed in and these prices always change so keep an eye out for that. Other eBay seller fees: As well as these fees there are other eBay seller fees including a percentage fee that you are charged once your product has successfully sold on eBay. You should also account for these other eBay seller fees before even thinking about selling a product on eBay to make sure you make a profit a the end of the day. eBay and paypal fees: Ok, here is where it gets a little bit tricky. There is a difference between eBay and paypal fees and you need to understand them properly so you don't get confused. Your eBay fees are the fees we have discussed and they come straight from eBay. Once yu successfully sell your item on eBay the payment is processed through paypal and they take about 2% of the sale. This paypal fee can and will vary so you may need to check their website for the latest figure. Calculate eBay fees: calculating your eBay fees does not have to be difficult and it can help you stay in profit. You can do this simply by using the eBay fees calculator which you can find here: http://www.fees.ebay.co.uk/feeweb/feecalculator Subscribe: http://www.deytips.com/subscribe Facebook: http://www.deytips.com/facebookpage Twitter: https://twitter.com/Deytips Pinterest: https://uk.pinterest.com/deytips/ Google plus: http://www.deytips.com/googleplus Udemy: https://www.udemy.com/u/sarmaddey/ LinkedIn: http://www.deytips.com/linkedin Business email: [email protected] Video url: https://youtu.be/LLCEkzLTBH8 Sam Dey

This video is 3 years old so maybe things are different now, but I notice a couple of things that I did not liked, I started just selling my old stuff to get some money, my old go pro, used games, some clothing that never used or never fit me and just store it, small sells that barely charge me fees, always free listing. I notice that ebay later charge me invoices per month on the months I sold things, small amounts so didn't pay attention. then started selling more expensive items above $250, recently I sold an item for $320 and on my paypal only shows $310 them minus the shipping amount, then the paypal fee of 2-3 dlls. from a $320 sale I end up putting in my bank $295 but then I will get an invoice and then they will charge me again for the sale, I imagine the 10% of the final price, then why they took $10 instantly between the sale to the paypal money I got? or was that the final listing fee? then why the invoice?

In future use the eBay fees calculator. It will tell you your exact fees before you list any item so you know what you will make after all fees and there will be no surprise and you can make sure you are in profit. Here is the link: https://www.fees.ebay.co.uk/feeweb/feecalculator

I have 11 listing on my ebay. I have Starter store. I sold 2 of them. And my current invoice balance is $10,49 . It' s too high. I sold my both listings for $17 total. and the fee is $10 cmon ... I have to pay a listing fee to ebay 0,36$ for each item... Is there any solution ? Or maybe i should increase my item price ? so the profit will be bigger ?

Ebay the devils keep sending spam emails about , discounts this , buy that!! I get alerts on my listings like " Your item may not sell , lower price!! " . How about you heathen fuckers lower your final value fees and quit poking our eyes on the shipping fees too?! " . These fukers probably responsible for 911.

Hello, ebay will only charge you if you have listings for that month right? If you have no listings they wont charge you?
Sam Dey (2 months ago)
If you have no listings they will not charge you unless you have an eBay store which you pay monthly for but you have to register for one of those and you'd know if you had one.

Do we have to pay the listing charge before hand or they will deduct the listing fee after sales?
Sam Dey (6 months ago)
Yeah, the listing fee is upfront
Austan May (6 months ago)
Does the insertion fee change when you have a quantity of the same item?
Sam Dey (6 months ago)
No, quantity should not impact your insertion fees. However it will impact your selling limits. You can get an estimate of your selling fees for any specific products before listing on eBay by using eBays calculator. Here is a link to it: https://www.fees.ebay.co.uk/feeweb/feecalculator

%15? What is this American Gangster? Denzel Washington: " %20 well that don't leave me nothin" Street boss: " well then get a real job Frank you could drive my car for me" "%20 well here you go" (hands him %20 of the cost of his breakfast). Denzel: " in this life your'e either somebody or your'e nobody". Only I'm Denzel, and Ebay is the guy in the suit, with his thugs trying to hustle me. No wonder Ebay is mostly overpriced crap.
Thanks for the in depth info man, really cleared up my confusion👍🏼

eBay Charged Me 9.15% for Electronic & Non-Store Fees 10% . They Suppose to Charge Me eBay Store Fee 6.15% . eBay Rep She Said TV Is Not Under Electronic Category Even Though They Are . So I Let It Go . She Said I Would Get $45 Credit Out of Around $201 + $170 eBay Fees . I Was On the Phone More Than 3 Hours . She Called Me Back Just to Tell Me She Can Give Me Lower Credit of $42 Where I Thought She Was Going to Help More Credit for Other Overcharged Fees . 3rd Call Back , She Told Me that She Can Not Credit Me Anything cause It Was Not Approved . She Did Not Keep Her Word , And I Was Not Happy . I Sold My Items At Cost Or Below Cost Just Keep Be Competitive & Keep eBay Happy . eBay & PayPal Made All the Fees Money Profit . I Said Bye to Get Off the Phone & After 30 Mins . Account Security Call Me , Restricted My Selling & Took Down All My 95+ Listings . I Got Fire Cause I Discussed About eBay Overcharged Fees . Problem Is , I Am 100% Honest Seller , I Went All Out for Customer Service . I Help eBay with Suggestions . Items Were Bought from Authorized Stores . Every Items Are Original/Authentic . My eBay Account Is Above Listings . They Fire Me Cause I Voice eBay Overcharged Fees & That’s My Only Income Selling what I Bought . What Is Wrong ? There’s Nothing Wrong with My Account Nor Complaint . I Am Honest Seller On eBay and I Got Punished . I Am A Great Honest Seller + Good Customer Service . That’s Why It’s Not Good to Depend Income from Giant Company . They Think They Can Do Whatever They Want by Firing Me Even When I’d Done Good & Right . It Hurts , It’s Not Fair & It’s Not Right .

Here is a great chrome extension that helps you determine ebay and paypal fees. It helps you quickly determine if the item is worth listing or not. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ebay-fee-remover/bpcdjaajkljempmnljajckfkmebmiooe
