This is what I get when I enter the command. What am I doing wrong? sudo: /usr/libexec/repair_packages: command not found
whatthewilly (2 years ago)
Are you entering a colon after "sudo"? Try removing the colon.

This is why I use Linux. The OS does what the fuck I tell it to and keeps its goddamn mouth shut about it. I need to alter a system file but apparently root isn't deep enough to do that. Fuck OSX

Linux isn't without its own issues... Segmentation Faults. Kernel Panics. Security Inconsistencies. I do agree that Linux is a superior product, but touting Linux as the end-all solution is kinda, well, naive.

+Ceadd's Apple World Thank you:)
Ceadd L (2 years ago)
+Nikunj Agarwal well, a reformat is the only way you'll be able to resize your partition, maybe the "other" is from a previous macOS install. I can cover it in a video but it'll take me a bit of time to make it. I have allot of catching up to do as I've been traveling this past little bit. I'll put it on the list! Promise to get to it as soon as I can! Thanks for the comment :) I'll post back with a link to the video once it's finished Cheers

Very nice that you posted video. From the video it appears that you only have one startup partition, no back up. How do you repair permissions on other startup partitions?
