In episode 150 of the Desire To Trade Podcast, I interview Forex trader Tony Sycamore on how to trade Forex like the banks.
This week’s episode is a follow-up to a first episode I recorded a few months ago (in episode 103).

After his career as an institutional trader, he moved to trading for himself and is now getting some partnership with different companies.
In this podcast, Tony shares how people trade in banks. If you've been wondering what kind of things people look at institutional traders, Tony is the perfect person to answer that. What I really like about Tony is the fact that he has a whole process when he looks at trades and he goes through a series of steps including looking at the big picture and looking at the context in which he’s going to trade. That’s something I think everyone should apply. I personally got, once again, a lot of value from this interview and I’m sure you’ll do the same.

// ABOUT ME
My name is Etienne Crete (from Montreal, Canada). I'm a swing Forex trader and help aspiring Forex traders develop a trading method that works for them so they can produce income allowing them to live with more freedom.
I blog at www.desiretotrade.com and host the Desire To Trade Podcast. I was fed up with the “fake” millionaire traders and the “get-rich-quick-trading guys”. That's why you can expect more free content from me than what other people charge for!
If you truly want to succeed in Forex trading, I believe you need to keep working on yourself so you can improve your strengths, but also your weaknesses. Do not focus solely on what you're good at.
This video expresses my personal opinion only. Forex trading is risky. Make sure you are ready to trade. Even this will not guarantee you positive results. I am not responsible for any losses incurred due to your trading or anything else. I do not recommend any specific trade or action.

Thank you for trusting me with my truthful and reliable opinion on any future purchase you may make. I always disclose this information when it is the case. As part of the Desire To TRADE family, you allow me to be able to use affiliate/referral links when suggesting items for purchase. As a customer of the products I refer, you help me sustain the time and resources to create content on this channel by generating revenue from your sales. This doesn't affect you in any way in the checkout process (I'm sometimes even able to arrange a discount for you that is special from other customers).
i wasted my time in this video Etienne . all he is saying is about jim self without any tips , about real time data there is a possibility to get low cost but limited to a specific assets the trader can pick without paying the whole data that he don t use . for example some one want to trade only facebook , he pays only for Facebook data .
good job Etienne .
Etienne, we hardly ever hear about the kind of training these ex-corporate guys got, were they given 10, 20, 50 setups in the beginning for example? Some internal-only book? It would be even more relevant to justify a title like "how to trade like the banks". In addition to your audience, the historians of the future would be thankful!
Thanks for the comment, Anastasios Tsiolakidis! Most bank traders learn by being surrounded by a trader within the bank for what I've heard. They sit next to that person until they are good enough to place trades. It's a pretty cool way of doing things!
