Without considering electricity costs, it takes 9 months for that rig. And that, assuming difficulty doesnt go up, or price down.
Won't the Ethereum DAG Epoch kick the 3GB cards out .. oh I see, this was from last October.
I have a few rigs with an 850 Watt PSU and 750 Watt PSU for X8 Video Cards.
On the PSU if you jump the green wire to connect with any black wire your PSU will power up. If buy chance your cables are all black, on the snap clip side of the 24 pin connector the green wire would be the fourth, (4th) wire from the right hand side the next wire to the left of the green wire, the 5th or 6th are black wires on a color coded; if you want to be sure to get it right just look at a stand stock PSU from a ready made system, or just google a pic to confirm or deny you have the correct wire, the green wire, and any black wire will work with a paper clip or I use an two prong wire connector and sharpen the tips to a point so they slide in easier.
As long as you figure about 190 watts per card on PSU's you should be good. on a 13 GPU rig I use X2 750 watts & a 1000 watt PSU = 2500 watts, which works out to about 192 watts per card, but then you can under volt your cards; with 13 RX580's I am at about 1300 watts at the wall.
One this note, using a surge protector is a good idea, and if it doesn't have a led or a light in it, that some times states "Protected" it is not an actual surge protector, just a six plug extension cord: about 1,000 Jules is good enough, about $9.99 at a hardware store.
THERE R SOO MANY HATERS HERE, i liked the video which power supple is this - platinum? - do they do 25 mh/s , if u would have picked 1060 6GB, would it make a difference, which GTX1060 3GB model did u used>
the 3gb have 3gb of vram , if you want to mine buy the 6gb beceause the 3gb is too low for actual mining in ethash for exemple the size of the dag is 2,5gb so soon 3gb and when 3gb is past you cant mine at all and for gaming 3gb is also low for game in 2018 so take the 6gb
Like you video. If you want to start mining instantly, check out hashflare, there you can buy hashpower and mine btc without building any rigg yourself. You will get payouts daily. https://hashflare.io/r/2A3430A6
woulld itt be prifitable if i build a mining rig for 1000 k and just turne it on on the cool days in austria its the half of the year pretty cold and i would put it in a lodge so in the winter days i think i wouldnt need any cooling at all its about 10 degrees outside
Claymore Miner issues with 7 AMD MSI RX580 6 MSI 1080TI 11G
Windows 10/64bit sees all my GPU's works fine with minergate and nice hash but claymore (mining only ETH at the moment) locks up when i have all GPU's plugged in when i unplug 4 of my RX580's and fire up claymore v10.0 it works fine sees 3 amd rx580's and 6 1080ti's nvidia its not my riser cards and i have plenty of power using Asssssrock H110 BTC MOBO 16gb ram intel i7 512gb m.2 HD Windows 10 for 16,000 mb of virtual memory anyone know whats going on here could use some help i'm sure it's a simple fix most likely with my .bat file this is what i have for start up and it works fine except i can't use 4 of my rx580 for max HASHing power im stumped on this one.
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool eth-us-east1.nanopool.org:9999 -ewal 0x710dafaa7e7c78f845bca7804b945300c49d5953.MainRigAMD/ [email protected] -epsw x -mode 1 -ftime 10
im open to any tips and tricks suggestions other ming pools other coins to mine anything or websites / videos to better my understanding of how claymore works and other software thats useful to mining.
Thanks for the help.
Hi I am New To This platform mining.
I need start this things. But minimum budget range rig to earn decent etharium per month can u help me with that how many gpus required for basic and decent earnings.
Use NiceHash and it's profitability calculator ( ht tps :// www .nicehash. com / profitability-calculator/ ) - remove the spaces and put that in the URL. Then find a card in your budget range from the list on the site and see if you can either get it in your area or ship it from somewhere else for cheap. Then the total card cost that that costed plus the shipping is your investment. With this number noted down, use the profitability calculator, put in your electricity costs (kilowatt per hour) and your currency and hit calculate. Then with the "monthly earnings" section, use that number and multiply that with example 6 months. (so mine says $49 - the card I'm getting is $261.16, so if I multiply $49 by 6 months, I have my return on investment in 6 months because in 6 months I'll get 294 US$. This is pretty good because in my area the power costs are pretty high.) If this is too hard for you to understand, just send a reply and I'll be happy to help. I may also make a video on this on a separate channel which could explain it better if you still find it difficult to understand.
You could just get 3 x RX VEGA 64 to have 8000 Monero hashes at around 500 watts, 3 VEGA 64s are not much more money than 8 of these 1060s, you could then over time add 3 more to make 16 000 Monero hashes.
13,500,000 GRAM Plan to sell.
