'Much too' and 'too much' what is the difference???
Gaming Go (5 months ago)
Too much modifies a noun and a verb, and much too modifies an adjective or adverb. _Too Much_ *Noun:* a word that refers to a *person, place, thing, event, substance or quality.* Examples of some nouns.........nurse, cat, party, oil, poverty *Verb:* a word or phrase that describes an *action, condition or experience.* Examples of some verbs.........run, look, feel _Much Too_ *Adjective:* a word that *describes a noun* Examples of some adjectives....... big, boring, pink, quick, obvious *Adverb:* An adverb is a word used to *modify a verb, an adjective, or another adverb.* Adverbs often end in -ly, but some (such as fast) look exactly the same as their adjective counterparts. Examples of some adverbs.........truthfully, quickly, lightly, randomly, brutally, here, there, somewhere, everywhere, inside, now, today, tomorrow, almost, very

Ali 1002jj (7 months ago)
Hi there, is this sentence wrong? "He really isn't a good boy" or "they really are not good at talking"
Jillybean (5 months ago)
hi. as someone born, raised and living in toronto, ontario, canada, i am telling you that you can use REALLY in a negative sentence. if you want to speak like an english speaker, feel free to use it in the negative. the video is just that, a video. i am a real person speaking real english. anyway, it's up to you. take care, jill.
Ali 1002jj (5 months ago)
Jill Thanks Jill but, according to the lesson, You can't use "really" in negative sentence! For example: "That restaurant wasn't really good" is incorrect, but, "that restaurant wasn't very good" is correct!
Jillybean (5 months ago)
the first one is correct. for the second, i would say .. they are not really good at talking.
Batista Sindor (7 months ago)

Thank you for the lessons but I have one question so, the last sentence you said that the correct form is to " tell the truth" OK but I just wanna know if that is correct to say "he always say the truth I mean a person who has mental problems and repeat aloud the phrase " the truth" again, again and again?
Daniel Gerardo Pandelo (4 months ago)
Carlitos, no esta bien. En todo caso seria ¨he always SAYS the truth¨, hipotéticamente se podría dar, pero esta un poco traido de los pelos.
